Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu meet our airport representative and transfer to the hotel .Overnight at hotel Day 02: kathmandu -Sightseeing. In the morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu , the most popular place in the kingdom was known as kantipur in earlier times. The tour highlights are the Living Goddess " Kumari" who appear on the balcony of her temple to greet her devotees; Kastamandap temple, the temple made out of single tree and name Kathmandu is derived from durbar square and drive to Soyambhunath which lies on top of hill is the Buddhist sanctuary said to be nearly 2000 years old. The hill itself is pleasant place overlooking the entire valley of Kathmandu . The all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted in prominent blue atop the dome are visible from long distance from around the Kathamandu city. Day 03:- Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara valley (823m/2,700ft), 7-8 hrs drive With a morning wake up, guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately seven hours with breaks) through the beautiful river view & Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside and transfer to the hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and overnight at hotel. Day:-04 Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1,577m/5,173 ft), 3-4 hrs walk This day morning, a short drive (90 minutes) continues along with the great scenery passing through several countryside villages all the way up to Nayapul, where from our adventure begins from the warm sub tropical region and follows the Modi River to Birethanti where you can see the confluence of the two river of Modi and Bhurungdi khola. We trek to Bhurungdi Khola with scenery of waterfall, high green forest and follow the stabilized trail and after 3-4 hrs continuing walk will reach at Tikhedhunga village for overnight stay, where you can enjoy the cool splash of the cascading waterfalls. Day 05:- Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft). 5-6 hrs walk Morning we prepare for the long uphill and start with steeply ascends on the long stone steps to Ulleri village with the amazing landscape and Annapurna Himalayan scenery. This scenery gives you inner power to climb up these steps and immerse you to walk more. After few hours of long hard climb with several breaks in between reaching at Ulleri village, from here the path is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of forest and stream sound. We continues walk in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest and finally reache at Ghorepani for over night stop. Ghorepani Deurali is a busy spot on the ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Our trek leader will brief you for your Poonhill hike and remaining program. Day 06:- Poon hill hike and trek to Tadapani (2,710m/8,891ft), 6-7 hrs walk As briefing yesterday evening, we hike to early morning for 40 minutes up to Poon hill and en-route offering the glimpse of aurora walking through the pleasant rhododendron forest. Pun hill named after the hill tribe Pun, inhabitants of Ghorepani-Shikha village. This is wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri , and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu Himalayan range. It is picturesque Himalayan scenery and good memorable moments spending an hour to the top. After a great time return back to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to onward destination, the walk passes through the Rhododendron, Pine and fur forest with up and downs hill and finally you will reaches at Tadapani for overnight at local teahouse. This is a great place surrounding by rhododendron forest with closest view of Mt. Fish Tail. Day 07:- Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,990m/6,529ft), 3-4 hrs walk This day, we have short and pleasant walking day through the forested path. The trail leads us is on gradual downhill path most of the way with occasional view of the Mountain. The trail enters an unusual and cool forest of moss-hung oak and rhododendron for an hour to Bhaise-Kharka a small place with couple of teahouses amidst the woods. A steep descend leads us through the slippery small fast flowing creeks and streams, after the steep portion, the walk gets better on the gradual path most of the way for another hour or more to Ghandrung village for lunch and over night stop. This is heavily settled Gurung village, a modern village of Nepal and explore the surrounding area and simply relax at the hotel. Day 08:- Ghandruk to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft), 5 hrs walk & 1 hrs drive This is our last day walk after long trek and immersing yourself to finish quickly this day. Trek leads through the scenic landscapes and local villages to get down to the Syalui bazzar settled in river bank of Modi. Further an easy path reaches at Birethanthi for lunch, where is the confluence of Modi and Bhurungdi River . After half an hour flat walk will reach at Nayapul. Our trek ends here and drives back to Pokhara lakeside for the overnight stop. Remaining time explore the surrounding lake side area and simply relax at the heart of Lake Town . DAY 09: Pokhara City Tour After breakfast we've sightseeing around Pokhara valley. You're free in Pokhara Valley also called " Magic Land " or Dreamland" of Nepal , to explore the various interesting place like a boating in Fewa lake over looking the region of Annapurna Areas, David Falls , Mahendra Cave and some Temples . After lunch you're free to shop for souvenirs or rest. Overnight at Pokhara. Day 10:-pokhara - Kathmandu or Extend other activities. Drive to Kathmandu and transfer from hotel to international airport to board onward journey flight or combine with other trip from Pokhara like white water rafting or safari tour at Chitwan Park . The cost would be extra for rafting & safari.
